We are home from the hospital and recovering. I will go later today for a shot and to get the PICC line out. I finished chemo #1 and will have surgery within the next few weeks (possible amputation) and then will have at least one more round of chemo.

Apparently as smart as 'em doctors are:) we still have to resort to barbarian means when treating cancer!! Pelvis is fractured. Must replace pelvis with optimal surgical margin in order to capture disease. We are basically looking at hemipelvectomy (right). I am praying that Dr M will have great solutions when he returns from vacation next week on which type of surgery is optimal. God has a plan.
